Full-time support workers

While we are not currently recruiting full-time support workers, we’re always interested to hear from or meet with anyone interested in working with us. Please take a look at our support worker job description, below, to see if it’s a good fit for you and then contact us if you would like to put your name on our waiting list or come along for an informal visit.

The job: To provide our autistic adult residents with daily one-on-one care. Experience is preferred but not essential; most important is the ability to demonstrate a caring and friendly manner.

Hours of work: Full time with alternating shifts (2.30pm to 10.45pm and 7.30am to 3.30pm), six days on, three days off.

Salary: £8.50 per hour to £8.67 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, rising to £9.25 per hour upon succesful completion of probation, plus £45 sleep in payment per night, £1176 per year average weekend and unsociable hours enhancement, and double pay on Bank Holidays.

Benefits: Overtime at x 1.25 weekdays, x 1.5 weekends, free comprehensive training package, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, 3% employer pension contribution, free parking, free meals on shift and chance to work overtime.
